Pixie, I will assume your question is where does parasite occur? Well they occur in the environment around us usually in or on living organisms. They can only survive for a very short time without contact with another living matter. Those that live outside the body on an organism are called ectoparasites like ticks, lice, while those that live in the body of an organism are called endoparasite like malaria parasite.
