  I have been interested in parasites since my first ever field project as an undergraduate in 1989 when I surveyed a football field for dog poo that contained toxocara worms. I completed my PhD in 1994 and have been working on them ever since. I published my first paper in 1992 and still publish papers on different projects related to various parasites.
