      Hi Chloe

I enjoy many things about my job. As an academic I enjoy collaborating with people across the world, travelling to the tropics and other places to meet people and do fieldwork, supervising students, lecturing, public engagement activities like this. The subject I work on is so fascinating that it never ceases to amaze me

      Hi chloe,

I love many things about my jobs. Most importantly, I get to learn something new everyday. Research is a career of discovery so I always encounter something unknown – sometimes it is a simple question of how to do an experiment, or how to analyse the data. A lot of the time, it is also a new things to other people in the team so we can work together to figure it out, and that is part of the fun. There is no boundary of knowledge and no boundary of things that can be discovered either…. so I always feel there is an excitement laying ahead!
