Lots of things!! I have ways too many interests.
– I traveled, near and far. If it’s only a day, then I might take a spontaneous trip to a nearby town or nature reserve. Near Cambridge, Saffron Walden is my favourite town, otherwise I love Fen Drayton, peaceful nature reserve with water birds and insects.
– Making things and getting crafty – usually making something to decorate my room or add personal touch to things I already have.
– Walk around Cambridge and explore its market and art stalls.
– Visit museums and galleries, Wellcome Collection in London is my favourite
– Volunteer – not doing much of this anymore but I had enjoyed entertaining elderly people with music and chatter together with a group of friends
– Just relax with musics, books, and movies… possibly not all at the same time 😛
– What I would LOVE to do but haven’t get into it, yet, is to get myself a Rasberry Pi which is a very basic, very portable little computer and it can be programme to do things. I’m not quite sure what I will do with it yet but the possibilities are essentially endless. 😀
I love travelling, round the UK and abroad
I am quite a keen photographer
I love walking in woods and around new environments
I am learning slowly to play the drums
I have been known in my time to play the occasional computer game
Having a family means I have not much spare time for the past several years and several years to come
Hi Ella,
I love to active outdoors – I love hill walking, running off road in beautiful surroundings (this weekend I was running along part of the west highland way in scotland), I love to cycle and swim outdoors in rivers and lakes and am very lucky that in London there are lots of lovely outdoor pools to swim in 🙂
I am also a keen reader (fiction and non-fiction), which inspires me to do my own creative writing.
I also run training courses for volunteers on a listening service, which supports people who are struggling emotionally, and also spend time listening as part of this service myself. For me talking and being listened to are very important so all of my friends would say I am a chatterbox!
What else…hmmm…like most people I also enjoy relaxing with friends, watching a good film and listening to music. It’s really important to have a break sometimes 🙂
