Immunology is the study of the immune system, how it works, how we can improve how it works and what happens when it goes wrong. The immune system is complex and fascinating made up of lots of interacting parts including white blood cells that circulate in the blood and move in and out of tissues as well as whole organs like the thymus, spleen and lymph nodes.
